What is it like to attend a Life&Lana Event?
Scroll through this post to get a sneak peek into what my events are like through photos and descriptions! My events have been so successful, and I am so happy that people have not only been purchasing tickets, but having so much fun. I have seen my attendees form lasting relationships, which was my main goal when planning my first events! Here you can find a short reflection on past winter events so you can get an idea of what my events are like and what you can expect with your ticket! Contact me if you’d like to attend one of my DFW events or become a sponsor. I’d love to promote your small or growing business! Hope to hear from you soon.
Embroidery Workshop by 18.20 Crafts
Included: Tea, Embroidery Supplies, Professional Guidance
I cohosted my final event before the spring with 18.20 Crafts, a professional craft workshop that guided us step by step through how to embroider wildflowers into our hoops! Anyone was invited to this event and I made it a girls nights and invited my mom. I’m so happy with the outcome and how I got to walk away with a professional quality embroidered hoop. We had so much fun!

Booze with Babes – GALENTINE’S Happy Hour
Tickets cost: $15
Includes: Cocktail, Appetizers, Goodie Bags, Sweets, Raffle Tickets for a Boudoir Shoot and handmade items, 2 movie tickets
This event was SO MUCH FUN! I decided to focus this specific event on business women, because we all need a little break to just love on ourselves!
Laid back networking was the goal, and after seeing the success of my past few events sponsors really showed up for this one! We had a ton of fun giveaway items. Vidorra Dallas was our venue, and we spent three whole hours getting to know a little about each other and our brands.
Vidorra was an amazing spot and the appetizers were so yummy we kept ordering more and more! We ended the evening with a little photoshoot using the restaurants murals, because you don’t put a ton of instagrammers together without expecting to get a few photos! Warner Bros was also kind enough to give each guest 2 tickets to an advanced screening of Isn’t it Romantic, so a few of us got to meet up the following week again and watch this movie before it was released!

Forest Preserve Clean-Up
Ticket cost: FREE
Includes: gloves and trash bags
This event was organized alongside Janelly Arizbeth! We met through Instagram after discussing how our local preserve was littered with liquor bottles and trash. She got a few of her friends together and we teamed up to clean! We removed almost 15 trash bags filled with debris, and thanks to Repurpose those bags were compostable!

Crafts & Coffee – Vision Board Workshop
Ticket Cost: $12
Includes: Vision Board Supplies, one coffee, Goodie Bags and Raffle tickets
Another January event I hosted which was a huge success. I rented out the private space at Mudleaf Coffee, and provided coffee and crafting supplies. This event was not targeted toward influencers or creatives, but just a laid back way for women to connect and make new friends!
I thought being able to focus on a craft while chatting was best, and was inspired by my mom who always had a vision board up by the garage that we could add to. She taught me to speak what I wanted into existence! I felt it was a simple task that can be a great conversation starter, especially when you’re meeting new people.
I wanted anyone who just felt like making new friends to show up, self reflect, drink good coffee and have a good time. It is so refreshing to meet people from outside of your normal circles and just build friendships that aren’t forced.
Brunch with Babes – New Years Networking
Ticket Cost: $5 (Donation to Genesis)
Includes: One mimosa, Goodie Bags, Raffle tickets
Although I love going to bigger events, it does take a lot of courage to break up into a strangers group of friends and introduce yourself. I wanted to host a more intimate brunch where someone could show up alone and still manage to feel included.
I booked a venue, Taverna, and provided mimosas for all the attendees to get our juices flowing! The profits from this event were entirely donated to the Genesis Women’s shelter of Dallas, mostly because I wanted practice as I was still learning how to plan and host events so I felt less pressure knowing this was for all for a charity! This event was exclusively for influencers and creatives, and it was so inspiring to hear what everyone was working on! From podcasts, life coaching, blogs, to startup companies, it is so amazing see the drive of these women and feel a connection so early on. Some of my attendees wound up being featured on each other’s blogs and podcasts which made me feel so accomplished. I had created a platform for networking which is exactly what I had set out to do! I branched out and started to reach out to some sponsors which gave us the best little goodies to try out!
