Take a look at all the events held by Lifeandlana.com this Summer! If you’ve been debating making the leap and heading out to an event, read through so you can get an idea of what we do. You won’t regret it!
I celebrated one year of Lifeandlana.com as we closed out the summer! The year has been full of amazing lessons and experiences. Some wonderful women cake together to share our stories, make new friends, and drink good coffee. Read my blog post about what I’ve learned after blogging for one year here.

Photoswap – Shops at Legacy
This was our second photoswap! At a photoswap, you meet up with other creatives or those needing updated photos and you do each other the favor of snapping new pics! No editing or experience required, and you can even just bring a phone. The shops at legacy is a gorgeous spot with a variety of back grounds.
Coffee Date – Networking Event
We hung out at Mudleaf Coffee and networked with some local ladies. Afterwards, each attendee got an updated headshot which was delivered to them electronically. We had so much fun we actually went over an hour past the end time of this event, whoops!
The Positivity Party
One of my biggest events to date, #theposiparty was a safe space for women to love themselves and each other! We drank, ate, and got amazing photos of ourselves and were allowed to feel confident in our bodies! Read a detailed description of this event here.

Photoswap: Downtown Plano
Downtown Plano is a local favorite spot for me, so it’s where I held my first photoswap. We had a couple different branding shots done for businesses, as well as new content for others! Bring multiple outfits, we won’t judge!
Daddy & Me – Tee Party
In partnership with thedfwparentguide.com, I helped organize a Father’s Day event where we created matching t-shirt sets thanks to the color pop studio DFW! These screen printed tees turned out amazing, and we got to make them while sharing with other local families as well.

Mother’s Day Plant & Play date
We braved the heat and planted a variety of plants to take home! Each mommy and their little one enjoyed lunch and brought home matching plants, as well as got to connect with other local moms!

Belleza Sin Fronteras
We fundraised in the best way possible! We sipped on wine, got some photos taken, and did a little self care by painting our nails. All proceeeds from this event went to families and children affected by deportation via Act Blue Charities. 100% of profit was donated! Hippie House offered their breath taking space for this event, and we are so grateful!
